These boots fit great and were comfortable straight out of the box... no break-in required. I work in a lab and stand up most of the day, and these boots keep my feet happy. I'm also a motorcycle rider, and these boots do great on the bike too. They are sturdy and waterproof, making them good riding boots, but look nice enough for me to war to work. I will definitely be ordering another pair if/when these wear out.

This is a solid, well-built boot. They were comfortable right out of the box. Fit was true to size. In 15 degree weather my feet did not get cold, but whether indoors or out, I never noticed my feet getting hot. While I didn't go wading through any ponds, I never noticed any water coming through, either. The soles and heels are on the thick side, with deep tread, which worked well in the snow. The only downsides that I can come up with are that the boot might have benefited from the top one or two eyelets being hooks--they are a little hard to get on. Also, I got black, but it is an oiled black. I knew this from the description when I bought them, but it would have been nice to have an option for a polished black version, which I did not see.

Great walking shoes. A nice spring sensation to your step. Took these as my walking shoes for a two week vacation and bought another pair when I got back. Highly recommend.
