I've been wearing these boots for about four months now. I'm the lone warehouse worker for the school district, so I spend as much time in the warehouse as I do out driving around. I live in Northwestern Alaska, above the Arctic Circle, so it gets pretty chilly. The boots provide just enough warmth to keep my toes warm between loads and driving in the van. They are also just cool enough to keep my feet from getting to hot when I'm indoors. I've worn them down to -40, and they jus give me enough warmth for an 8 minute walk. When the temperatures were around above zero, in the teens and twenties, these boots were great.

Only con is they do not have much traction on the ice, and slick plowed roads. I've slipped more than a few times, but that's fine by me. I've got YakTraks, they're just a hassle to deal with when you're running in and out all of the time.

Conclusion: These boots are perfect for what they were made for and I recommend them for your feet. Especially for warehouse type environments and moderate cold weather outdoor work.

It's risky to order shoes online, but Timberland came through. Good quality, great fit (ordered EE for a wide foot) and comfortable! Look great as well.

I ordered the boots for my son because of Timberlands reputation for quality/warmth. His feet stay warm during a 30 minute walk to school, and it gives him the "cool" winter look that teenagers go for now days.

I gotta say, I've never been this disappointed with Asics shoes in my life. This is my favorite brand and I've probably purchased Asics half a dozen times, but I will never buy this model again. The shoes are extremely uncomfortable. They irritate my feet when I exercise and leave my feet on the verge of blisters. It's so bad that I can't wear them the next day. I'm not sure if maybe they run too big, but that really surprises me because my shoe size doesn't fluctuate and I have always purchased a size 10, sometimes even 10 1/2. Also, if your feet overpronate I do not recommend these at all as the support on these shoes make my overpronation worse.

3-month update:
The shoes are now even worse! If there were was an option to choose 0 stars, I would lower my initial 1-star review. It's only been 3 months and the shoes are actually falling apart. I've had Asics shoes that I've worn for hours, 6 days a week, when I used to do marching band that have held up for literally years, but 3 months in and the soles are detaching. I only wear them twice a week for about 2 hours each day when I go to the gym. I'm beginning to think these are not real Asics and maybe I got a knock-off sent to me. Money down the drain :(
