Slightly narrow compared to other work boots in this size but not bad. I am disappointed in arch support/padding in the boot but some new insoles should fix that. Overall I do like these boots but not as much as the Chippewas they are replacing so unless I get more life out of these I probably won't be buying another pair.

I've been wearing Timberland's for over 25 years. Always 13 wide. Never had a fit problem until this last order. I didn't wear them when I received them because it has been storming but this past weekend was dry and put on the brown pair I purchased and low and behold too small, put the black pair on same thing.. I didn't try them on when I received them because I never had an issue before. Now I'm past my window to return them. $300 dollars down the drain.......

When I purchased these boots didn't ware them for about 3weeks and when I put them on they felt tight. Figured because they were new that they would loosen up. As the day went my feet started to hurt felt like the soles aren't put in properly. I then went to Walgreens and purchased Dr. Scholles insoles with cushions. That didn't work so I have them in the box only used once.

Comfortable boots, I'm a 11.5, so I got a 12. So I would recommend get a half size higher for comfort. So far working out doors has been a pleasure, warm boots should handle most cold weather conditions, can't say about the waterproof part of them as I have not encountered snow and slush yet, so read further from others, should be fine from what I read from others.

These boots fit great. They are comfortable, warm, water proof and stylish. I wore them out in the rain and mud last night and when I came in they looked as if they had just come out of the box. They are warm, can be worn with heavy or light socks and are still just as cozy. No breaking in needed. Plenty of room in toe box area and well cushioned. All in all a really super work and casual boot for every day use.

Fit as expected for Brooks. I love love these shoes. The change I love the most is that they got rid of the little bit of plastic covering that used to come up over the big toe side of the top. I attribute that bit of plastic/rubber to my bruised toes after a half marathon. The absence of that makes the toe box feel bigger. Not sure it's any wider, but it just feels so roomy and comfy. After a 10 miler in these I felt no discomfort in toes or anywhere else. Everything else, to me, feels the same as the Ghost 9s that I loved so much. Wonderful upgrade.
