the boot is nice and comfortable. However, not waterproof at all. I've tried several water-proofing products and no dice. Too top it off, after only about 6 months winter only use (over 2 seasons) the stitching has torn and my once sweet, still brand-new looking boots have a huge whole in them.
Not happy at all. Won't buy timberland boots again.

Well made leather, requires slight break-in but that's due to the thickness and quality of the leather. Sole is grippy - I would prefer a more aggressive tread pattern for outdoor use but I think these are geared for indoor shop use (ie concrete flooring). Because of the quality, they are a little heavier than other Timberlands I've worn; I think this is a good thing.

There may be better boots out there, but for $83 shipped these are going to be a hard value to beat in my opinion. They look like they will wear very well, are very comfortable and are waterproof as stated. If there are any unusual defects I'll ammend my post, but for now I would recommend these over any other retail boot in the price range.

Best boots I've ever bought in my life, they're even better than my north face boots. My feet is never cold anymore. I wish I got these boots a long time ago. The only problem I had was the delay with the delivery due to the snowstorm in New England but that wasn't the sellers fault. I highly recommend them!!
