I've worn Timberland Pro series boots as work boots for the last decade. I like that they are waterproof, and they are not too hot for the 12+ hour shifts in the field in the summertime. I bought the brown on brown boots two years ago, and it's time to buy another set. The outside seam at the intersection of the leather and the rubber sole blew out on one of them, a good 3" long and in such a way that it doesn't look like it can be repaired.

I like the way they look and I like the way they fit. My wife tells me two years of hard use is a pretty good run, and I should just buy another set. And I will. They just don't seem as well made as they used to be.
