I work in mountain snow and this is my 2nd pair. They breath and never have my feet been cold. They give great support . I had the 1st pair 3 years and the souls never wore down but they split at the ball of the sole all the way across which is a disappointment . Everything else was great. TIMBERLAND !!!!! Why does such a great boot fail in outlasting a pair of cheap rain boots. The sole of this boot will not make it to Heaven.

Worth the extra money. These are very comfortable as is without the "sold separately" insoles. I wear them for landscaping (several hours every week) and I've already put them through the ringer. Still look great after months of wearing in slush, mud, dirt, grass, etc.
Size:
My foot has gotten wider over the years so I purchased the Wide version. I typically fit into a 10.5 and mistakenly purchased sized 10. I'm glad I did because with the Wide version, size 10 fit just right for me.
Every foot is different, but I highly recommend!!!

These are the most uncomfortable shoes. I had an identical pair that were very comfortable, but had worn out. I was happy to find them on Amazon and ordered these as replacements. Upon opening the box I first noticed a lot of glue drips that I had to clean off. Next, I tried them on and and found them to be much too narrow even though the box and the shoes said 2E. I wore them for an hour, hoping they would loosen up, but only developed hot spots at the widest part of my feet. I always used to buy New Balance because they were Made In America. These are made in Indonesia. Total Junk. Their quality control is the pits.

Follow up: I have worn these for about 8 months now, and now the stiching is coming apart. Avoid them.
